Failing Forward

In a world that asks us to win every time, what if our greatest lesson lay in our biggest failure? Getting better and growing faster at an accelerating rate may not always be possible. But when the goal is sustained and continual growth, a little dip doesn’t mean you can’t get back up, right?

When we think with the mindset of failing forward, we begin to see failure as the training ground for our next big shift. Write down your grandest, biggest goals. Put them up on your walls. And when you look at them, think: “this is the marathon to the finish line”. Keep going. Success might not be your next big win, but that small step you took towards moving forward.

Resilience requires us to fall, fail, learn, and get up again. And it all starts with having a little grace for yourself to keep jogging along the way.
