Who is Steven?
Steven Ngo is a technology lawyer, professor and speaker. After graduating from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, he practiced at some of the most prestigious law firms in Canada and around the world. During his time in private practice, he served on hiring committees, gaining insight into how decisions are made behind the scenes.
Through his career, Steven has received some of the profession’s top honours. He was named one of Canada’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers, recognized as Best Under 40 by NAPABA, and awarded the BC Medal of Good Citizenship, one of British Columbia's highest distinctions for public service.
He continues to give back to the community. He served as President of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers BC and of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers Western, and as a board member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
As the first in his family to attend law school, Steven understands what it’s like to navigate unfamiliar systems. He remembers feeling completely lost as a law student and trying to piece everything together on his own.
His personal mission is simple: to serve the person he once was and guide others walking the same path.

Do you coach only lawyers (and students)?

Not at all. Many of our clients come from outside of the legal world, including in business and public service. The skills that we teach are applicable across industries, not just law.
